Father’s Day is June 19th. Have you gotten your father a present yet?  Have no fear, because we have a guide with foodie gifts for every dad on your list! From the coffee lover to the cheese lover, there’s something for everyone!

For the Cheese Lover: Cheese Brothers is a Wisconsin-based cheese company founded in 2015 by Gene Graf and Eric Ludy. Cheese is a family business; Eric’s great-grandfather emigrated from Switzerland in 1919 and started the family’s first cheese factory in Wisconsin. Eric’s father, Tom Ludy, taught Gene the trade and Gene now oversees the production, cold smoking and packaging of Cheese Brothers cheese. Eric oversees the sales, marketing and e-commerce side of the business.

Cheese Brothers makes a wide variety of Wisconsin cheese including cheddar, swiss and provolone, to Fratello, a cheese inspired by Asiago and Parmesan that is softer and meltier. One of their top sellers is Rhapsody. According to the company website, it is “rich, sharp, nutty, a little sweet; [they] named this cheese Rhapsody because of the feelings of pure cheese bliss it evokes. Try it with a glass of dry red wine or use it to make the world’s best mac and cheese.”  The company sells all kinds of gift packs and collections.

Just for Father’s Day, they have a “World’s Cheesiest Dad” Father’s Day gift box. The box includes 6 oz. blocks of Wisconsin-made 3 Amigos Gouda, Fratello, smoked Gouda, smoked mozzarella, a 5 oz. block of Wisconsin-made 8-Year aged cheddar, an 8 oz. jar of classic mustard from Mustard and Co. of Seattle, Washington, a 5 oz. artisan salami from La Quercia of Norwalk, Iowa, a 5 oz. package of Classic White organic crackers from Potter’s Crackers of Madison, Wisconsin and a “World’s Cheesiest Dad” sticker. This will surely please any cheese lover on your list! ($64.95)

Foodie Gifts for the Coffee Lover: The Morning Dram Coffee is a company whose tagline is “Coffee for the spirits drinker.” The Morning Dram was created by Tommy Tardie. He has years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. According to The Morning Dram website, The Flatiron Room (one of the venues Tardie owns) was awarded “2021 Best Whisky Bar in America” by Whisky Magazine. He knows his spirits!

The Morning Dram creates specialty coffee, specifically Bourbon, Rye and Sherry Barrel Aged Coffee. They have several gift options that would make great Father’s Day gifts. They have a subscription option, where you can have 3 bags of coffee sent for one month, 3 months or 6 months.  Dad will never have to worry about running out of coffee!

They also sell box sets. The most popular being the Morning Dram Starter Kit. This set includes everything dad will need to make a delicious cup of coffee. It includes one bag of bourbon barrel-aged coffee, one bag of rye barrel-aged coffee and one bag of House Blend No.1 (not barrel-aged) coffee. It also includes a stainless steel dripper (no paper filter needed), an enamel camp mug and a handheld burr grinder for $99.00. All of the coffee comes as whole beans, so that grinder is very handy!

The coffee beans are sourced from Colombia, Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. None of the coffee contains alcohol. The beans get their flavor from sitting in the emptied spirits barrels. No extra flavoring has been added. I was able to sample The Morning Dram coffee and can say this is a bold, flavorful coffee.  I am amazed by how much unique flavor the beans get from being barrel-aged!

Tardie combines his love of spirits and coffee in an Espresso Martini cocktail that he serves 3 ways at The Flatiron Room. Dad can enjoy this cocktail at home using the The Morning Dram Rye Barrel Aged Coffee in the recipe below.

The Morning Dram Cocktail: Espresso Martini

Ingredients 1.5 oz Reyka Vodka 1 oz Rye Barrel Aged Coffee .5 oz Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur .5 oz Simple Syrup Expressed lemon peel and 3 coffee beans as garnish.

Foodie gifts for the Coke Lover: Coca-Cola is a popular, global brand.  For dads who love this soft drink, you can gift a personalized 8 oz. bottle of Coke or Diet Coke. You choose the type of beverage and the message. They also have a red painted glass “Share a Coke with Dad” bottle. This item is more of a collectable. The Coke store sells everything from branded t-shirts and socks to ear buds and watches. There’s a massive variety of merchandise for dad to show off his love for Coke.

Foodie gifts for the Jerky Lover: Stryve Biltong is a company that makes and sells preserved meat. Biltong is a centuries-old meat preserving process with South African origins. The company washes their steaks in vinegar and seasons them with a rub. They are then air-dried and have no added sugar, MSG, nitrates or gluten.

For the Lemon Lover: Do you have a father who enjoys all things lemon flavored? Fabrizia Spirits, maker of Limoncello, Vodka Sodas, Italian-style canned cocktails, and frozen cocktails also owns the Fabrizia Lemon Baking Company. This company makes baked goods like cookies, biscotti and whoopie pies, which are all made with their Limoncello.
