Traders say that cashew prices have reduced compared to last year. In such a situation, its demand is likely to increase further, as the flow of cashew from production centers is low at present.

Due to good demand for coconuts, prices in rural areas are firm. There are three carts of coconuts. Coconut 120 Bharti 1650-1700, 160 Bharti 1950-2050, 200 Bharti 2150-2200, 250 Bharti Rs.2250-2300 per bag.

Demand for sugar expected to rise – Sugar prices have come down due to good demand. Sugar is being bid above Rs.3710 and below Rs.3660 per quintal. Demand for sugar is likely to increase further. There are seven vehicles inside. Local demand for copra shells and shells is steadily increasing due to which their prices are expected to increase. A box of copra gola is priced at Rs.160-185 per kg and coprabora (15 kg) at Rs.1950-3150.
