“Don’t forget to subscribe!” —your favorite YouTuber your new favorite coffee

When I was younger, I would look at the coffee-addicted adults in my life and think, I'll never be like them. Back then, I thought the hot brown liquid tasted like dirt, and was only for those sad people who just didn't wake up with the same pep in their step that I did every day. Well, dear readers, let me tell you: I was wrong. I am writing this right now as the steam from my morning cup envelops my face, because I am now a shell of a human without The Juice™ running through my veins. TLDR: I am the coffee addict I once looked down upon, and I need at least one bag of the magic beans in my apartment at all times or I just might wither away.

All that said, I am a prime candidate for a coffee subscription—recurring shipments of beans delivered straight to your door for at-home brewing. And I do, in fact, subscribe to several, which makes me highly qualified (if I do say so myself) to share the best of the best with you. Below, I've rounded up the 10 best coffee subscriptions you can sign up for right now in order to keep yourself stocked up on the good stuff year 'round. Each one listed is affordable, customizable, and features some gosh darn tasty coffee that'll keep you fueled no matter what type of day you're having.

Scroll down to see the the cream of the coffee subscription crop (which all make great gifts, btw). You can thank me later once you realize you don't have to leave your home for a quality cup of the good stuff.

Trade is one of the most well-known coffee subscriptions out there, and for good reason. TBH, I have a ton of friends that use it, and they convinced me to sign up a year or so ago and I've never looked back.

You start by answering a series of questions on their website—including how you prefer to brew your coffee, your coffee experience level, what you typically pour into your coffee, your preferred taste, and more—and they'll suggest a bag from a local roaster. After that, you can adjust the plan according to your preference, choosing how frequently you want to receive new bags, etc. Don't worry—they'll remind you before every order goes out so you can make changes or swap in new selections as you wish.

If you consider yourself to be a bit of a coffee snob, you can also sign up for their "Trade's Top Shelf" plan, which is a lil more expensive but offers more high-end beans and grounds.

What you get: One full-sized bag of ethically sourced coffee selected based on your taste and coffee-making style.

Glowing review: Great quality coffee, always super-fresh, and it’s easy to learn more about the roasters and get nerdy details.

As a New Yorker with plenty of coffee shop options, I can honestly say I will walk double-digit blocks for a cuppa Blue Bottle Coffee. It just tastes different, and by that I mean better. And their subscription program allows you to get that same taste without leaving the house (and there's nothing I love more than not leaving my house).

You first choose what type of bean assortment you want (blend, espresso, single-origin, cold brew, etc.) and then how much you want in each shipment (half bag, standard bag, double bag, or triple bag). Lastly, you choose your delivery cadence, and you actually don't have to overthink it, because you can pause, skip, or cancel anytime(!). Shipping is always free, too, so Blue Bottle is basically a no-brainer.

Fun fact: The BB team is committed to shipping out their beans less than 48 hours after they were roasted, for freshness sake. Love that for us!

Best plan: Blend Assortment Subscription

Cost: Starting at $13 for half bag.

What you get: One 6oz. bag of beans—containing a blend of two or three bean types—which is enough for a week of coffee for 1-2 people. Larger sizes also available.

Quality coffee straight to your door for just $0.55 a cup? Yes. Plz. Bean Box is one of the most popular coffee subscriptions on the market because it's v affordable for what you're getting while still being v tasty.

You can personalize the plan based on your coffee preferences, how often you drink it (and how many other people in your house might be "borrowing" some from your pot), and your bean type. They've partnered with over 50 roasters across the country to make sure there's a bean for everybody—you can pick your own, or let their experts be coffee sommeliers for you. No matter what, shipping is always free and the fresh beans are always sustainably grown.

Cost: Starting at $20 per bag.

What you get: One 12 oz. bag of coffee weekly, biweekly, or monthly, with beans chosen by the brand's curation team.

Glowing review: I started this subscription as a birthday present for my boyfriend, and I planned on only paying for a couple months. It's been almost a year now, and we still love getting this subscription once a month. It's such a delight trying the different flavors and having a selection to choose from.

Growing up in Seattle, Boon Boona founder and CEO Efrem Fesaha was no stranger to good coffee. But he also had another connection to the drink: his family is from Eritrea, so he grew up performing the culture's traditional coffee ceremony. Needless to say, he was more than qualified to open Boon Boona, a Washington-based roastery and café that serves beans sourced exclusively from Ethiopia, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, and other African nations. The brand has worked hard to create sustainable, long-lasting partnerships with growers in these countries, with a focus on supporting woman-owned growers.

If you want to get your hands on some of these beans (of course you do), a subscription is your best option, because you'll get a discount on the goods. Simply pick two from the seven available options, and select exactly how often you want them sent. The beans will be there before you can say "Boon Boona" (which btw means are words used to say "coffee coffee" in parts of East Africa).

The plan: Roasted Coffee Subscription

What you get: Two full-sized bags of Boon Boona Coffee, delivered at your desired cadence.

BLK & Bold has been taking over major retailers as of late (I want to throw a bag in my cart every time I go to Target), but you can also get it sent straight to your front door. The brand—founded by two best friends who share a love for coffee, tea, and community engagement—offers a "subscribe and save" program for all of their coffees and teas(!), allowing their fans to get bags of their favorite brews at a discounted price.

Simply pick your bags of choice, then decide how often you want them delivered—with the options for orders to come as frequent as biweekly. Once they arrive, you can feel good about every sip (beyond the general joy that comes with a caffeine hit), because 5% of all proceeds go to nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping serve community youth programs.

The plan: Subscribe & Save

Cost: $14 for coffee or $12 for tea + $1 shipping

What you get: Your favorite full-sized bag of BLK & Bold coffee or tea, delivered at your desired cadence.

Glowing review: As a tiny child (31 years) with the acquired taste for coffee, this is one of the few coffees I'll drink without creamer! Highly recommended!

Ready to go on a coffee world tour without getting out of your pajamas? I know how (and it costs way less than a plane ticket).

Atlas Coffee Club offers a subscription program that sends you a new bag (or half bag...or two bags) every month (or two weeks), personalized based on your preferences. These aren't just any coffees, either—they're some of the world's best single origin beans, and you can't find them on shelves. How exclusive, amirite?

Deliveries come as often as you want them to, and you can skip or change the delivery date no questions asked. Each order also comes with a postcard from the country of origin and information about your specific roast, including what you're tasting and how you can brew it best.

The plan: Atlas Coffee Club Subscription

Cost: Starting at $10 for a half bag of coffee.

What you get: Coffee from a different country each month, selected based on your taste and coffee-making style. Each shipment includes a postcard from the country of origin, as well as tasting notes and brewing tips.

Glowing review: I loved the idea of tasting beans from places beyond what you see on store shelves. The first bag I received was from Kenya. I read the card telling me how it was processed, how best to brew, and what I should be tasting. My world exploded! I really could taste chocolate and citrus! I could smell it too!

Name a chicer package...I'll wait. Counter Culture Coffee is a fan-favorite brand (and celeb-loved, as well!) because it's as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside—and it's REALLY damn beautiful on the outside. I mean, just look at that color blocking.

The company, which has been around for 27 years, is committed to making coffee that's sustainable, affordable, and just overall tasty. AKA all the things we could ever want in a bag o' joe. They also offer a couple different subscription plans—an ongoing subscription to order for yourself, or a finite gift subscription to order for someone else.

For the ongoing subscription, you can order 1-4 bags of whatever coffee you desire to be delivered either weekly, biweekly, every three weeks, or every four weeks, and they'll just keep sending it until you say stop. For the gift subscription, you can make it equally personalized, but there's a final end date—a sad, sad day for the giftee, surely.

The plan: Ongoing or Gift Subscription

Cost: Starting at $14.40 per bag.

What you get: Your favorite full-sized bag of Counter Culture coffee, roasted to order and delivered at your desired cadence.

I have so many great things to say about Driftaway Coffee, I don't even know where to start. First of all, the brand has my vote for being the best personalized subscription because they send you a blind taste test to ensure that they know your preferences to a tee—and you might even surprise yourself and find a new favorite roast once your bias is removed.

Once you sign up and do your "Explorer Box" testing, the brand will then send you coffee they'll think you'll love at the frequency of your choice. They currently source 91 coffees from 26 countries, but they also adding new ones monthly, so you'll never get bored of your morning brew. Each batch is single-origin and roasted within 24 hours of delivery, so you know you're getting the best of the best.

The business is also carbon-neutral, they source sustainably from small farmers, the coffee bags and labels are compostable, they donate 5 cents for every pound roasted to the World Coffee Research, and the founders are proudly AAPI.

The plan: Driftaway Coffee Subscription

Cost: Starting at $14.40 per bag.

What you get: A full-sized bag of coffee curated to your taste (with your name on the bag!), plus a postcard in every order with information about the farmer, tasting notes, and brewing tips.

Glowing review: Found them after searching for possible coffee subscriptions to start my ‘adventure’ in the coffee world. Absolutely stunned by the sheer quality and variety of coffees that I could try every single month.

As a proud Canadian, I would be remiss not to include Luna Coffee, a small roastery in a small town in British Columbia co-founded and co-run by a cute couple with a passion for quality coffee. If you're into supporting small businesses (and want to get sent some really damn good beans in the process), then this is the subscription for you.

You can choose from either the "Weekender Subscription" (makes about 25 cups) or the "Everyday Subscription" (makes about 50 cups) and you'll receive two bags of whatever their favorite beans of the month are, which they source from small growers overseas and curate by the season.

If you're a subscriber, they'll also send you a zine with every delivery, which they fill with info about their growers, what you can expect to taste in your cup, and all the (beautifully) nerdy details in between. Shipping is always free, too, whether you're in the U.S. or Canada.

What you get: Two 250g bags of curated coffee every month, plus a coffee-focused zine. (The "Everyday Subscription" costs $62 a month for two 500g bags.)

Feeling left out because all of the above are for whole and/or ground beans and you can't bear to part from your long-loved Keurig? Don't worry, I didn't forget about you. This monthly membership plan from Cratejoy will send ya 15 K-Cups a month for as long as your heart desires—and the more months you prepay for, the cheaper each cup will be. (For example, prepay for a year and cups will be 66 cents each!)

The "Mixed Single Cup" membership is my favorite because it gives you a bit of variety—and who doesn't want a little more of that in their lives? Every month you'll receive three different blends in each order, two of which are flavored, and one of which is unflavored. If you do the math, that means you'll get five cups that are one flavor, five that are another flavor, and five that are flavorless, perfect for adding your own flavored creamer or coffee syrup.

Along with the cups, each delivery also comes with a card that gives a detailed explanation of each coffee you received, as well as info on the roasters that brought them to life.

Best plan: Cratejoy Mixed Single Cup Club Membership

Cost: Starting at $9.92 per month.

What you get: 15 K-cups per month in three unique blends (two flavored blends and one non-flavored blend). Card explaining the coffee and roaster included with each delivery.

Glowing review: The quality of coffees was amazing! I loved them all each time sent! I've actually signed my mother up for a subscription now and she's now hooked! GREAT coffee for an even better price!
