ALEXANDRIA, VA — Bands & Brews, a summer bar crawl with live music at participating businesses, will return for a second year in Del Ray.
The bar crawl is planned for Saturday, Aug. 20 from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Participating Del Ray restaurants will offer cocktail, beer, and food specials along with live music. There will also be a main stage for live music at Pat Miller Neighborhood Square (Mount Vernon and Oxford Avenues).
The event is for people ages 21 and older, but children are welcome at family-friendly restaurants and the main stage at Pat Miller Neighborhood Square. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Registered attendees get access to food and drink specials, trolley transportation, 50/50 raffles, a photo booth and giveaways. The first 250 registered attendees receive a swag bag with a 16 oz souvenir collector's cup.
Check-in will begin at 12:30 p.m. at either Northside 10 (10 E. Glebe Road) or Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap (401 E. Braddock Road), or Pat Miller Neighborhood Square after 2:30 p.m. Attendees can then visit other participating restaurants starting at 1 p.m.

Northside 10, Piece Out, Cheesetique, Stomping Ground (live music at Pat Miller Square Stage), Pork Barrel BBQ (live music Pat Miller Square Stage), St. Elmo's Coffee Pub, Del Ray Pizzeria, Evening Star Café, Kaizen Tavern, The Garden, Elo's Italian, Barkhaus, Bella Napoli, Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza & Tap, Spice Kraft Indian Bistro, and Matt & Tony's.
